INTRODUCTION

The G.Q.M Group of Companies Head Quarters is in Myanmar but with an overseas office in Singapore. G.Q.M Group of companies was originally established for Construction and Interior Decorations. However we has also branched into Trading, Power Generation, Power Transmission and Distribution, Railway, Infrastructure Development, Agriculture, Hotel and Tourism business since 1994.
 
The G.Q.M Group of Companies has its origin dating back to the 1994 when the Kappa International Limited was formed, the group has established links with many companies. Meanwhile, the number of companies that forms the G.Q.M group has also grown.

COMMODITY TRADE

A high percentage of the Group's trading has been in the commodities with Myanmar, Thailand, India, Iran, Malaysia, China, Singapore and other countries in the region. However the group is expanding fast into trading in a wide range of products.

The Group exports rice, steel (billets, scrap), sugar, beans and pulses, raw jute and timber from Myanmar.

We are sourcing worldwide to import into the region, fertilizers, palm oil, power transmission and generation machinery and equipment, machinery.

With our long term experience in trading and financing we have managed to maintain and grow even under various severe hard times of business when our clients were having shortage of funds by providing them with the alternative means of financing acceptable to and for the benefit of both parties. Our financial standings and our reputable status allow us to arrange financial deals for the transactions in various forms of arrangements such as countertrade financing, commodity financing, financing in forms of forfeiting and promissory notes and Buyers/ Suppliers Credits, from the Export /Import Banks of the country of Origin of the Goods supplied by us, Collateral Management Agreement etc. and under the terms acceptable to the Principal Bank of the client (Myanma Foreign Trade Bank for Myanmar) and discountable to the International Banks, Insurance Companies and Off- shore Funds etc.
